Honkai: Star Rail codes are one of the few ways you can get Stellar Jade (opens in new tab) without having to farm it through The Forgotten Hall, Simulated Universe, or Daily Missions. While you can accrue quite a lot by just doing quests, opening chests, and generally playing the game, it never hurts to have a few hundred extra you can use to warp.

There are plenty of Star Rail characters you can grab for free by completing missions and activities, like Herta, Natasha, Asta, and Qingque, but since this is a gacha game, five-stars will always be locked behind some kind of banner. Seele and Jing Yuan are our current version 1.0 characters, so if you want either of them, you'll need to save up to try and roll them before their banners disappear.

That said, here's every Honkai: Star Rail code that's currently working, plus the two methods you can use to redeem them. While there aren't many right now, chances are some will drop during the version 1.1 livestream when that happens, similar to the way Genshin Impact gets new codes.

All Honkai: Star Rail codes

  • HSRVER10JYTGHC - ⭐NEWEST - 40 Stellar Jade, 10,000 Credits
  • STARRAILGIFT - 50 Stellar Jade, 2 Traveler's Guide, 5 Bottled Soda, 10,000 Credits

Expired codes:

  • HSRGRANDOPEN1 - 100 Stellar Jade, 50,000 Credits
  • HSRGRANDOPEN2 - 100 Stellar Jade, 5 Traveler's Guide

How to redeem Honkai: Star Rail codes

There are currently two main ways to redeem your Honkai: Star Rail codes. Here's what you need to do to redeem in-game: 

  • Log into the game
  • Open the phone menu
  • Click on the three dots to the right of your character portrait
  • Select the redemption code option
  • Enter your code and redeem
  • Head to your mailbox in the top right to claim your rewards

If you want to see new codes before they get added to this list, then it's worth joining the Honkai: Star Rail Discord (opens in new tab), since that's usually where gacha games post their free stuff, or the community does. Chances are there will be regular livestreams with codes similar to Genshin once the game launches properly.
