Tips for saving at Lenovo

Lenovo coupon codes are the best way to save money on your order, however, there are additional ways to get a discount:

  • MyLenovo Rewards: Lenovo has a free loyalty program to join called MyLenovo Rewards. It gives you the chance to earn points when you shop that you can redeem at a later date to save on future purchases. Other ways to earn points include completing surveys and doing friend referrals. 1,000 reward points = $1 and you’ll get 3% - 9% back in reward points (the percentage amount varies depending on the item). Other perks of joining the program include free expedited shipping, exclusive members-only offers, and rewards on your birthday.
  • Weekly Deals & Sales: You’re never short on ways to pick up a bargain at Lenovo. The top bar on the Lenovo website is the first place to look, where there’s a ‘Sale’ section. Hover over that and you’ll see ‘Weekly PC Deals’ and ‘Other Weekly Deals’ - as the name suggests, this is where you’ll find limited-time offers. There are also sales dotted throughout the year, and when they’re around, you’ll find lovely savings like up to 60% off a range of goods.
  • Head to the Clearance: Find everything from laptops, gaming PCs, tablets, monitors, PC accessories and so much more in the Lenovo Clearance. This is the place to shop for some of the biggest discounts on Lenovo devices and accessories, so make sure you have a browse through.
  • Shop refurbished: Head to the Lenovo Outlet to find refurbished goods, overstocks, and discontinued lines, all with an irresistible discount.
  • Look around for deals: You don't just have to buy directly from Lenovo either, so shopping around can find you a great deal. Amazon, Target, Walmart, and Best Buy all stock and sell Lenovo products and we've normally got a coupon for one or two of them too to get you an even better deal.
  • Take advantage of trade-ins: If you're looking at buying a new device as an upgrade for the one you've already got, check out Lenovo's Trade-in service. You can recycle your old PCs and electronics and earn Visa Gift Cards that can be used anywhere Visa is accepted, including Lenovo. Just get a trade-in quote, ship the devices with the free shipping label and packaging materials, and then just wait to get paid.
  • Check out the discounts: Lenovo offers an extra 5% off with their Education discount for students, teachers, parents, and staff. As well as a Healthcare discount for nurses, doctors, and other medical professionals and a First Responder discount for first responders, law enforcement, paramedics, and more. Finally, they also offer a Senior Discount for those aged over 50.

Which Lenovo gaming laptop is for you?

If your heart is set on Lenovo for a gaming laptop then you might be trying to decide which of their ranges is the one you need.

The Lenovo IdeaPad line of gaming laptops is Lenovo’s answer to the need for more budget-friendly devices. They offer a more affordable entry point into gaming laptops as well as offering devices suited to being day-to-day laptops and more general use. They’re available with a range of specs and screen sizes, so they’re the perfect choice for those looking for a gaming laptop that doesn’t hurt the finances too badly without sacrificing too much performance. The lower prices also suit those infrequent gamers who only play from time to time.

The Legion series is the choice for those with bigger budgets and bigger demands from their gaming laptops who don’t want to trade off technical specs for flexibility of where you play.

Alan has been writing about PC tech since before 3D graphics cards existed, and still vividly recalls having to fight with MS-DOS just to get games to load. He fondly remembers the killer combo of a Matrox Millenium and 3dfx Voodoo, and seeing Lara Croft in 3D for the first time. He's very glad hardware has advanced as much as it has though, and is particularly happy when putting the latest M.2 NVMe SSDs, AMD processors, and laptops through their paces. He has a long-lasting Magic: The Gathering obsession but limits this to MTG Arena these days.
