We're nearing 2023's halfway mark, but there are still new PC games aplenty coming our way. We've still got some heavyweight releases for before we close out spring, and with more games hot on their heels: publishers are packing more release date announcements into summer with each passing week.

Of course, we're in the age of game delays, and we've only seen more during the pandemic years. It'll be no surprise if a lot of these games get their release dates knocked back for some extra polish. If they're lucky, it'll just be one delay. Not all of them are lucky.
Still, even if some of these dates are tentative, 2023 is shaping up to be a huge year—particularly for RPGs. A lot of major releases and long-in-the-works sequels are targeting this year: Starfield's delay has us waiting for launch until September, Baldur's Gate 3's early access is planned to end with a full release in August, and of course Diablo 4 is scheduled to turn up too.

Biggest new PC games this month
After the ramp-up of releases moving into spring, May will be a little bit of a breather before some titanic games touch down in summer. But we've still got some heavyweights this month: we'll kick off with some open-world vampire slaying courtesy of Redfall, with new eldritch adventures in Darkest Dungeon 2 following close behind. And at the end of the month, we'll catch up with our old friend SHODAN, thanks to the System shock remake.
